I started my journey as a Scenographer when I realised I wanted to apply the design skills and technical prowess I gained from studying Architecture in High School, to a context where my hunger for human connection and multiple art forms could meet: Theatre. I took the Stage Design bachelor course in Venice, Italy, and I graduated with First-Class honors. During my studies I

applied my knowledge taking part in two Opera productions at the Gran Teatro La Fenice, both in workshop and backstage roles, and working alongside the director. Observing, supporting and learning directly from the specialists was one of the most foundational and forming experiences I have ever had, and its memory never fails to remind me of the reason I want to be part of the theatre world.

For the past year, I had the pleasure to be 1/6 of the MA in Collaborative Theatre Production and Design cohort at Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where I got to expand my skills and work range, collaborating with practitioners from different backgrounds. Entering the industry, these formative years will act as a strong foundation for an expanded, conscious Scenography practice,

interested in the possibilities of theatre-making to promote change-provoking conversations and as a site to create meaningful connection.
